We collect no analytics. Your data stays on your Mac.

What each edition stores on your Mac

• Settings, in the standard macOS preferences store.
• Clipboard history, in an encrypted file in the app's data folder. The key is in your Keychain, the file is readable only by you, and it is left out of Time Machine backups. Items that apps mark as concealed or transient are never saved, and with the unlock or Pro you can exclude apps.
• Pro only: your license and the start of your trial, in your Keychain.
• No log files. System logs mark file paths and clipboard content as private.

None of this is sent anywhere.

What goes over the network

App Store edition

The app makes no network calls of its own. It has no network permission at all. Apple handles the purchase and the unlock.

Pro

Pro contacts only cyberdeck.namifi.site, and only with your permission, to check for updates and to download them. License checks happen on your Mac and use no network.

Buying a license

Polar is the merchant of record. It takes your payment and keeps your purchase email. Our license service, which runs on Cloudflare, signs your license and emails it to that address through our email provider, Resend. The license contains a hash of your email.

Recovering a license

The recovery form sends the address you type to our license service. The service looks it up at Polar and, if it bought Pro, emails the license again through Resend. The service keeps no copy of the address and does not log it. The page answers the same way whether or not the address bought a license.

This website

No analytics, no cookies, no advertising, and no third-party scripts, fonts or images. The static host may keep ordinary server logs.
