The short version: one person, up to 3 Macs, 12 months of updates, and it keeps working.

Pro license

One person. A license is personal. It covers up to 3 Macs that you use. This is on the honor system. The app does not count or track your Macs.
12 months of updates. Your license includes every version released in the 12 months after you buy.
It keeps working forever at the last version you received.
Optional renewal. You can renew to extend your updates. You never need to renew to keep using what you have.
Offline check. Your license is verified on your Mac. There is no activation server.
Revocation. Refunded or leaked licenses are revoked in later builds. Builds you already have are not changed.
Trial. The 14-day trial has every feature. Afterwards the app falls back to the Free tier.
